Gear Library
Thanks to funding from Venture Taranaki with the 2024 PSP Curious Minds project, as well as some generous koha | donations from individuals in the community, Trails & Tots is able to have a gear library. The aim of the library is to improve accessibility to items that whanau may need in order to recreate outdoors, reducing cost and barriers.

How to Borrow:
1) At a Trails & Tots Meet Up:
Please check the box on the sign up form, located on the Calendar & Registration page, to indicate the item you'd like to borrow. No additional deposit or waiver required.
2) For your own adventure:

For hiring outside of meet ups, we require a deposit/credit card hold until the item is returned. We also suggest a koha to help cover ongoing gear maintenance costs, cleaning, and insurance. Suggested koha:
- $10/item for single day use
- $20/item for weekend use
Equipment hiring form will be emailed to you after initial request is made.
